Andrea Petkovic has reached the round of sixteen at the WTA tournament in Toronto. Andrea defeated Greta Arn (HUN | WTA 69) 6-4, 7-5 in a hard fought two hour match. Even though the world's number ten didn't have her best day, she proved strong nerves saving 14 of Arn's 17 break balls.
"I showed only 15 percent of what I am capable of. I struggled with the windy conditions. But the most important thing was that I stayed calm", said Petko. In the round of sixteen Andrea will face Petra Kvitova (CZE | WTA 7). Kvitova won three of the five encounters against Andrea so far including the final of Brisbane this year.
