Andrea Petkovic has reached the quarterfinals of the WTA tournament in Cincinnati. Andrea defeated Petra Kvitova (CZE | WTA 6) 6-3, 6-3 in the Round of 16 and beat the Wimbledon-Champion for the second time in a row. Last week Petko cruised past Kvitova in the Round of 16 in Toronto with a 6-1, 6-2 win.
Andrea will face Nadia Petrova (RUS | WTA 27) in the quarterfinals. The only time they met in the first round of last year's US Open Andrea took away the win in a thrilling three-setter -> Head to head

Andrea Petkovic has reached the round of 16 at the WTA tournament in Cincinnati. Petko cruised past Sofia Arvidsson (SWE | WTA 58) with a 6-2, 6-4 win in straight sets in the second round.
Andrea will face Petra Kvitova (CZE | WTA 6) in the round of 16. The last time they met was just one week ago, when Andrea swept away the Wimbledon-Champion with a stunning 6-1, 6-2 win in the round of 16 in Toronto. All in all the history between the two is balanced.

Andrea Petkovic has reached the second round of the WTA tournament in Cincinnati. In a hard fought three hour match Andrea defeated Jarmila Gajdosova (AUS | WTA 30) 5-7, 7-6 (5), 6-2.
Andrea will face Sofia Arvidsson (SWE | WTA 58) in the second round. The Swede won the only encounter between the two players so far 2008 in Odense -> Head to head

Andrea Petkovic has dropped out of the WTA tournament in Toronto. The 23-year-old German lost 4-6, 3-6 to Agnieszka Radwanska (POL | WTA 12) in the quarterfinals. The Pole also took away the win in their last encounter last week at the semifinal in Carlsbad. Andrea will now attend the tournament in Cincinnati, before she moves on to the US Open in New York for the last Grand Slam this year.

Andrea Petkovic has reached the quarterfinals of the WTA tournament in Toronto. The 23-year-old German overpowered Wimbledon-Champion Petra Kvitova (CZE | WTA 7) 6-1, 6-2 in a one-sided match.
In the quarterfinals Andrea will face Agnieszka Radwanska (POL | WTA 12). The two recently met in the semifinals of the tournament in Carlsbad last week. Radwanska won that match like the other two encounters she and Andrea have had so far.
